is Big Ben really considering retirement? Brady is like 4-5 yrs older than him and seems to think he will never retire. Big Ben looks like he can take the pounding of the game better than NE Tom. Even Manning made it to 40 in super bowl after several surgeries.

The league has been protecting Teflon Tommy for the last ten years. Not so much or equal protection for any other quarterback. The beatings or hits they take don't draw a flag in comparison. If they would provide the same protection most would try to stay longer. It's a good living as long as you can still have a normal life upon returement.

Calling penalties on hits after they happen isn’t really “protecting” anyone. It’s not like the officials jump in front of the defensive players before they hit Brady. Think about what you’re posting.

Ben was in a very bad motorcycle accident early in his career. Sure he didn't break his back or knees... but it helped father time.

Ben is a huge drama queen. He will, at the very least, play the final two years of his current deal especially since he now has his hand chosen offensive coordinator. If he does not finish this deal, he must payback part of his huge signing bonus which is not happening.
