That award was handed out on Monday or Tuesday. The B1G coaches voted Paul Chyrst, of Wisky, the B1G Coach of the year, and the media voted Franklin the B1G Coach of the year.

The Pitt loss is what's going to keep them out. They were banged up for the game missing several starters on defense. Not to mention it was very early in McSurleys young career.
