Really want a Bills Lions SBBack yard fun in the snow.
But it wasn’t planned. Allen, at about the seven yd line, threw a short pass to the left just over the line of scrimmage to a running back. Allen was standing there watching as a defender trued to get him down but couldn’t.Hook-&-ladder (as in lateral) back to Allen as second part of the Hook-&-ladder...
Semantics, but Allen was not standing there, he followed the play perhaps because Cooper was stymied after a ridiculous catch and being pushed back. It was not planned but Allen indicated he followed the play. But it wasn’t planned. Allen, at about the seven yd line, threw a short pass to the left just over the line of scrimmage to a running back. So the back suddenly laterals it back go Allen……keep in mind in a blizzard with six inches of snow on the ground….and Allen catches it then stumbles to the corner of the end zone.
QBs often follow such a play because of the possibility of a fumble, not expecting a lateral, especially in that weather.Semantics, but Allen was not standing there, he followed the play perhaps because Cooper was stymied after a ridiculous catch and being pushed back. He then ran and dove, not stumbled. Allen dives a lot.
lol. Intentional vs not, I suppose.QBs often follow such a play because of the possibility of a fumble, not expecting a lateral, especially in that weather.
Stumble vs dive…… now that is semantics!!
