Bilma and Beemer, what happened

Bilema abused the substitution rule and USCe had to use 3 TOs three different times to avoid Delay Of Game Penalties. Shane Beemer started complaining vociferously that Illinois was intentionally using too much time to substitute after USCe substituted on the second call (and Illinois was - USCe was substituting as soon as play was over and 40 Second play clock started, but Illinois substituted multiple players, not all at the same time - forcing Referee to hold the snap - Illinois was using well over 30 seconds to make their substitutions and forcing USCe to call TO as play clock was ticking below 5 seconds and Referee was not letting USCe snap the ball....). The 3rd time Illinois did it and the Officials did not give them a time-limit, Beemer went ballistic! Then douchebag Bilema started taunting Beemer and the entire USCe team while on the field after 3rd TO by making the signal the Umpire makes while standing behind Center to delay snap (both arms stretched out to side). It was clearly taunting and Unsportsmanlike, and should have been flagged. Bielema is so f'ing childish and a classless douche.
They really do need to alter that rule and put a time limit on the number of seconds the defense gets to substitute AFTER the offense had completed its substitution. Something like 10 seconds is plenty of time for the new players to run on and old players run off.... Allowing the Defense unlimited amount of time to substitute (leading to the classless, unsportsmanlike gamesmanship Biliema pulled) is not only unfair, but frankly absurd and stupid. If 10 Seconds isn't enough time for them to get too many men off the field, they should be penalized.

Again the fault of the refs. This is unsportsmanlike conduct on behalf of Bilema and he should have been flagged the second time.
Same as our game with him and Wisconsin. The referees should have called unsportsmanlike conduct for the way Illinois was intentionally delaying the substitutions and definitely for taunting. They call penalties on our players for stepping over a ball carrier but allow the head coach to walk across the field and clearly taunt his opponents.
We all know Bielema is a total d-bag, and yes he should have been flagged, but I'm still glad the Illini beat USCe. I know some on here say a bowl game like this doesn't matter, but I feel that every time a B10 team beats an SEC team it helps to chip away at the unfair narrative that their conference is so far superior to all others.
Beamer was whining non stop the whole game. Bielema is a jerk and it was a bush move but some of the issues were that South Carolina waited too long to substitute and on one occasion tried to do it twice. If Beamer wants to run his mouth claiming South Carolina got jobbed in not making the playoffs his team can’t lose to Illinois.
Or Beamer could adjust how he was substituting, like he was a coach or somehting.
Bret is an ass. No doubt about that. But, what was Beamer going to do? Despite being woefully out of shape Brett played Dline at Iowa. He would absolutely crush Beamer if they went at it.
