It's 2-2 after 2 overtimes.....the Ducks have hit the post/crossbar 3 or 4 times in the 2 overtimes and Crawford has made another 5-6 great saves.

Shaw of the Black Hawks scored on a soccer-style header in the second overtime and the announcers (and Black Hawks and yours truly) thought it was over, but the officials correctly waived it off about 45 seconds later.

It's been a great game but tough on my cardiac system!

Good luck Illinois. I have to beg out after the end of OT2. The announcers never said why the goal header was waived off. They literally just said there was nothing in the rule book against heading it (as opposed to kicking in the goal) and the ref waived it off- and they just continued on without explanation. There's a rule against heading a puck?

Yeah, they eventually found the provision in the rule book and put it up on the screen. If it was accidentally off his helmet, it'd be a goal.....but hitting it in intentionally with his helmet it's not treated any differently than intentionally knocking it in with an arm or leg or skate.
