.....crying in their cheerios - Coach Franklin's unwinding FLO's sacrilege, gotta love it. Love the video on the front page of BWI too. AB says, anybody who knows about PSU knows how much these uniforms mean to the PSU faithful. Than basically says everybody who grew up with PSU Football or around Pennsylvania knows there are no names on a PSU Jersey..... Love it (especially that all the whinny BOT-bots will be all sad that another of their indignities is being unwound by the guy who said he was honored to walk in the footsteps of all PSU's legendary coaches, Bob Higgins, Rip Engle and "The Great Joe Paterno", but he didn't list his predecessor. Must be killing the BOT whiners that all their BS is being unwound and forgotten.

Since I'm a "BOT-bot", I'll reply ---- I like that we went back to the no-name jerseys. I like that part of our tradition.

But whatever the uniforms, they really don't matter that much. I'd root for the men representing Penn State if they came out in pink and yellow uniforms with red racing stripes.

If certain people want to view today as a "great victory" in terms of either "restoring Joe Paterno's legacy" or "erasing some of the stupid stuff that evil no-good Bill O'Brien character did", fair enough.

I don't think today's jersey change had anything to do with any former PSU coaches, but fair enough.

The BigTen will not allow us to have the same uniforms as Rutgers. :)

Certain people? Here trying reading these articles, it is quite clear that the overwhelming majority (read virtually everyone but the BOT-bots) want the traditional uniforms, including the players. Looks like the BOT-bot's "tyranny of the tiny corrupt minority" force-feeding and reign-of-terror is OVER - whaaaaaaaaa, boohooo......

Penn State coach James Franklin goes in-depth on decision to remove names from player's jerseys

Penn State players, former and current, sound off on Lions' decision to remove names from jerseys

"Restoring some of the history and tradition, I think it's a step in the right direction," Franklin said.

I think that's pretty clear what Franklin feels...."restore"....."a step in the right direction". Sounds like he's just started on RESTORING Penn State to its traditional roots and far from finished. Awe, the poor BOT-bots, their reign-of-terror by the tiny corrupt minority is over....ding-dong the witch is dead....

And here I thought there was going to be a mass exodus of recruits and possibly even transfers if they removed the names from the jerseys. Geez, I hope the program can survive.

Yeah, I used the phrase "certain people" ---- in reference to the "certain people" who view today as some sort of victory over "that evil no-good Bill O'Brien character."

"Certain people" = Bushwood CC. Your shot at O'Brien in your original post did not go unnoticed.

Aaaahhhhhh, smells like.......victory.

Speaking of victory, maybe some day James "Bushwood CC's hero for getting rid of those EVIL nameplates" Franklin will have a better Penn State victory percentage than Bill O'Brien. 53.8% vs. 62.5%.

Man, O'Brien just sucked. Right Bushwood?

MichNit-calling yourself a "Bought-BOT" really doesn't do too much for your character man - I think I recall you coming over to the dark side a few months back?!

But this statement is even more troubling - But whatever the uniforms, they really don't matter that much. I'd root for the men representing Penn State if they came out in pink and yellow uniforms with red racing stripes.

To think the uniforms don't matter "that" much just shows that you really do not understand what it means to be a Penn Stater and what WE ARE really means !?*

I worry bout u man !

Since you can't help yourself, let us that know what is right at the right time speak freely, "...no more names!"
