“The big picture here is that the vaccines are working and the reason for the spike in the U.S. is we have too little vaccine uptake,” Frieden said.

A immunology-based blood test is the first step. Sure, a simpler test of how well a person’s blood neutralizes the virus would eventually yield similar data, but those can take more than three days. And you have to use the active virus to do it, which means a biosafety level 3 lab and permission from the CDC, which is doling out the active virus specimens. On the other hand, pretty much any biochemistry lab can do a blood test based on an enzyme-linked immune system assay, or ELISA, if the lab has the proteins. “It’s relatively high-throughput if you set it up right,” Krammer says. “With one operator you can probably test a few thousand people per week, and you can do that in parallel with more than one operator.”

We don't need CDC's biosafety level 3 lab protocols when the disease is all around us! WTF up! The point is there's more than one way to skin this cat but the Biden administration has put all its eggs in one basket. Ask yourself why.
Biden should pay heed to Australia and how the public is reacting to draconian lockdown. It won't work here so don't even try it or 1/6 will look like a walk-in-the-park. Not unless you exact retribution on China, which is something you won't do because they helped get you elected.
