The issue is the recruiting trips.. People held Bo as a saint here cause he visited the statue, but even tho I respect what he did I always thought he was slime. Look at his Grad Rates.
Why is this news... it's between him, his family, and the Wisconsin athletic dept. I could care less who is sleeping with whom. The exception there is someone elected to political office. They should not do anything, in my opinion that prevents them from being effective in their office.
Because we have to judge him harshly and destroy his legacy. This is all he has done.

If every male who ever had an affair is a goddamned loser, then we are all in big trouble. It's time to stop posting this kind of crap all the time. Many, many, many men have had affairs, and we don't know what the other side of the story is.
MLK, Eisenhower, Clinton, JFK, LBJ, and many many others have had affairs. Are they all complete scum? Catherine the Great, Cleopatra, Alexander Hamilton, the list goes on and on and on.

How would a politician having an affair make them less effective? Politician or not it's none of our business unless it effects the country.
Disagree. It's a reflection of their character and decision making. I am far less concerned about the average person, but a politician can be blackmailed and compromised. In addition, of course, to being a cheater and liar. I learned early on to judge people by how they acted behind the backs of their 'friends'.
Interesting point. If the media never reported it then maybe it wouldn't limit effectveness. I don't think that Bill Clinton was very effective as President while he was going through all of the Lewinski mess.
I knew you had Bill in mind. If he wasn't as effective it was because he was being hounded by Republicans some of which were found to be having their own affairs.
