I don't know how anyone could watch that, overlay it on top of the videos that leaked out in 2017 with the New York Times article, and then conclude that somehow this is all a hoax.
Does this guy sound like he's conveying a hoax:

Is this another crazy high level guy? Was he handed disinformation as part of the disinformation campaign? If so, why would this "disinformation" be counter to past disinformation, i.e., that we don't have any evidence?

It seems that AARO (All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office) is just another front organization like Project Blue Book. So we had Project Sign, then Project Grudge, then Project Blue Book. Now we have AATP, AARO, etc. etc. What's next? How many layers of government bureaucratic nonsense must we endure to get to the truth. We can't even call a UFO a UFO anymore. Now we have to distance the lies of the past by calling these things UAPs.
The UFO community learns of this during last week's conference, and laughs at the canned AARO response ...
