Some well deserved recognition for a fine young man who helped keep our defense together when all of the starters went out with injuries. I hope he wins this award after supporting his team and working hard to make it onto the depth chart.

Beat the Hoosiers!

Have the polls determined a favorite? If so, the winner is certain to come from among the other four.

I'll say it for Bobpsu92

I hate us

Thank you. The kid is another example of an embarrassing football culture in Happy Valley. Consider the following:

  • 3.77 GPA in pre-med and wants to be an orthopedic surgeon.
  • Chose Penn State as a walk-on over two Ivy League schools (one being Penn).
I mean, this is ridiculous. This can't continue.

From the link above the awardis "given annually to a graduating senior."
Since he is a RS JR, does this mean he will not be back? What a shame, because he would definitely be in the 2 deep. Possibly starting with Cabinda bumped outside?

He can graduate and still play, can't he? Granted, that might mean he would have to defer med school for a year of grad work but he can still keep his career on track AND play for the Lions if he so chooses, can't he?

Yes, you are correct. Brandon will most likely return if Penn State renews his scholarship. His wife and family are in favor of him returning for one final season.
