He has years of experience as a OLine coach. They have a pretty good line, so it probably isn't a bad hire.

I hated Coach Flood as the Rutgers Coach. Then I listened to him all this season on College Sports Nation and I could not help but like him. He was interesting, knowledgeable and likeable. He did not join in any of the Schtick. He always seemed to like PSU and were singing our praises well before the others jumped on the bandwagon.

It's a non-hire. Quinn is simply spending Arthur Blank's money to take care of his unemployed buddies from Hofstra, Flood is going to be Chris Morgan's gofer.

Its a very good hire IMO.. I know we hate Flood, but he was always a decent O-Line guy. Atlanta has one of the best lines in the NFL and are probably super bowl favs next year with their core in their primes. I think Flood did pretty well here.
