Football Brisker skipping bowl, will enter NFL Draft

That's fine but I hope he told the coaches long before this and has not been practicing. If he didn't I don't think that's very decent. I also hope he's not at the bowl game. Anybody that sits out should not be travelling with the team to a bowl game.

Ironically that is a very selfish thing to say.

What is great is CJF makes that decision, not you.

You act like these young men are not talking and getting counsel from CJF and staff. I know you may find this shocking, but in many of these cases CJF actually advises them to not risk it.

I guess you missed where I said "that's fine". I have no problem with his decision given the current state of the game. I just hope the coaches knew about it ahead of time. If so, fine. Are you on the staff? You respond like you know exactly what goes on. I don't.

None of the homers on here will say it, but this is plain quitting on the team. Guess Dotson did it too. Absolutely shameful.

I'm old enough to remember when not quitting on your team was something to be admired. Now it's the opposite. These kids are flat wrong.

You don’t think he will have more than enough money to travel on his own and stay on a 5* hotel?

My sentiments exactly. We are 4 days away from the last game of the year and getting announcements. His replacement could have had over a weeks worth of reps.

I am all for him attending and motivating his teammates at the game, but man, you can't pull the plug with only a few practices left.

I don't disagree.

If there is a true first rounder, I get it. Some of these kids are likely not to get drafted at all. We've seen it time and time again.
