Last two losses are disappointing. But, I think we will continue to improve over the next few years.

Unfortunately, the piece was accurate about the LBs deficiencies in pass coverage. On some plays, esp. blitzes, they were out of position, failing to adjust to cover areas where the blitzes came from. On other plays, they just didn't have the instincts or range to cover receivers. Those problems can be masked by a good pass rush, but that wasn't present either.

The development of the next generation of PSU Linebackers will be key to championship hopes. At this point, I don't think we know whether the young guys in the program or on the way are up to the task. But that's part of college football; the faces change.
