He won't go but he is responsible for more total yards, only three less total tds but five less turnovers than Jalen Hurts. So it isn't the most absurd notion.
At least JT Barrett needs to take his 1st team B1G QB award to state college and give it to Trace. I still just don't see how Trace was 2nd team.

You see, Trace can THROW the ball and run the ball. I know you guys haven't seen that in awhile, but it is a thing quarterbacks do. And he happens to do it very well.
I'm pretty sure Trace is killing it academically as well on the field. I realize tOSU fans don't understand that's possible, but it is. Add that to his football stats, and why shouldn't he be in the conversation for the Heisman?

Mark my words. Trace will play more downs, games, and seasons in the NFL as a QB than J.T. Barrett.

I imagine he'll start next season on some watch lists. But the Heisman has become mostly about stats. As for the NFL...pump the brakes a little....he's had one good season. Most short (by NFL standards) don't do well and add that's he a spread QB and the odds are stacked against him. Yes, Wilson and Brees are exceptions, but the exceptions don't disprove the rule.
And the coaches at some schools thought Trace better suited at safety than QB.
