just witnessed a bullying training at EIU, which is done at all the schools. one of the bullying areas defined was yelling at subordinate people. this could be manager to staff member, faculty to student, etc. I mentioned a couple areas that I see this behavior = medical schools where surgeons are quite elevated to nurses and other subordinates, and athletic coaches to players. the trainer said under the definition of these state universities, that is bullying behavior, which warrant reporting of the individual guilty of this behavior. I suggested that some of these cultures have tolerated that style.....trainer said it is bullying and unacceptable.
