By 2014, it's pretty clear this isn't going to be forgotten

Where all banned posters eventually go.
There's an article in the NYT today about the Catholic Church and a high-ranking bishop who's been fired for abuse. I made the mistake of reading the comments section, and saw this:

Between the Catholic Church, USA Gymnastics, and Penn State Football, is it any wonder we don't let our kids out of our site?

I know it's a broken record, but this is going to fester forever. I hope the people who run the BOT are happy about it.

The last sentence is exactly right--the BOT created this and got what they wanted.

And let's face it - the American public is pathetically uninformed on almost everything beyond how much they pay for cable TV.
And the old guard bot was led by John Surma. Enough said.

I am sure if you handpicked the bot everyone in America would forget about sandusky. Not

FWIW:

John Surma has been gone from the PSU Board for over 5 years now...…
In fact, he was long gone BEFORE PSU so much as paid out a penny to any of the Sandusky Claimants.

What's that tell ya'?
Oh I get it but scumbag Surma and his comrades set this travesty in motion and they made it very difficult, if not impossible, to rectify things.

Czar Ira The Terrible has called the shots for PSU. He knighted Prince Judas, enriched questionable claimants and then appointed his successor Dambly the Dimwit. He will now build a casino on the very soil were he sowed salt. What do you think of him now?

Yep..... Ira Lubert, the unanimously supported ruler of PSU

(FWIW, later this week, the PSU BOT will - - - - - probably "unanimously" - - - - award Ira another $1,000,000 per year contract for leases at the Research Park, at 2X market rate...…. in case anyone is interested :) )

That said, no love lost for Surma either.
Who, BTW, during his tenure running USSteel:
UNDERPERFORMED the S&P by 92%, and underperformed his closest peer in the Steel Industry by 174%

Since Surma was "retired" from USSteel, USX has OUTPERFORMED its closest peer in the Steel Industry by 32%

Just an illustration of the high-quality leadership that is drawn to the PSU BOT.
A collection of Dildos, led by A$$holes.
There are no words in the English Language that can define despicable, heinous, vile or reprehensible, better than simply identifying one as a "Surma."

Didn't think this deserved its own thread and it's kinda along the same topic. So I'm gonna post it here. This is from a Cleveland browns message board when the topic of osu student athletes being molested came up.

"it will be interesting to see how this will affect recruiting in other B1G sports OSU is with. Football seems to be ok for now."

"The advantage is the media 247 cycle is so fast this may be dead and buried by August"

“Well, Coach Holtzmann for the men's basketball team just got his second commitment from a 5 star player; a PG whom everyone had tabbed as being a lock to go elsewhere"

Sadly, they are. Somewhere Karen Peetz, Ken Frazier, John surma, ed hintz, minim coppersmiths, ira Lubert and a few others just raised a glass.

I'm still waiting for a rational explanation of how Penn State football was responsible for anything. Players? No. Coaches? No. Alumni? No. Boosters? No.

Someone ask Peetz if anything has been forgotten.
Isn't she hanging out at her condo in Freeh's neighborhood?

It tells me that they lit the match and then, like the cowards they are, ran. Literally rats leaving the ship.

Wow. So all they are concerned about is the program and the effect it will have on recruiting. SMH.
And We have a "culture" problem.

Oh was Mimi able to drag herself away from the Oprah long enough to make a toast? Or did she just take a hit from the flask she keeps in her purse?

Can I pimp slap her afterwards?
Hitler wants another visit with............the Peetz. Someone, please repost the Angry Hitler video.......with captions. I think Karen should have to start every day going back to 1944 in a groundhog day endless loop as punishment for her....fiduciary failure. Ouch! and...............so deserved.

I hope this comment-writer's kids got out of his/her sight long enough to learn the difference between 'site' and 'sight.'

So you are just figuring out that people who read the NYT are ignorant and bigoted? Late to the party.
