With all of the greatness we have been exposed to, in terms of athletic achievments, since Cael&Co.'s reign began at State College, sometimes it can be quite easy to overlook what In my opinion far out weighs this, and that is the goodness. Cael and the rest of the staff have successfully laid out a blueprint for these young men to not only go out and achieve their goals on the mat, but to live an inspired, honorable life of service and in my eyes that is the ultimate achievment. It's truly a beautiful thing to witness and to see the trickle down effect from that kind of leadership, makes the world a better place.

I agree, it is becoming obvious as you hear them speak during interviews. There is a culture that you described and it is good. They will become successful alums due to the example placed before them by the coaching staff. The same in football and other sports. We are fortunate to have this culture evident across the coaching staff ranks at PSU.

Watched the Zain and Nolf interviews after winning their titles. They both expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to wrestle for Cael and Penn State. Polite, humble young men off the mat. Penn State fans should be the grateful ones for the wrestlers and coaches on this team.

Can you smell what The Rock is cooking?

It makes it easy to like the program. Everywhere Penn State goes on the road these days, attendance records get broken. People get it.

I wish the fans on this forum had a humble attitude of gratitude! We are living in the greatest era of PSU wrestling in history. Win, lose, or draw we all should be enjoying and savoring every single moment for as long as it lasts.
I agree 100%..I have to tell you, I just started watching and posting on this thread and other just last season. I do not visit as much as I use to..and a big reason is some of the so called FANS are are just rude! these are KIDS! college age but still KIDS!

wrestling is a SPORT! if 1 team always won everything, what fun would that be.

all the so called fans that have written negative things about JG--should be ashamed of themselfs..

I became aware of the wholesome attitude the team had in November 2014 at the ESU open. PSU brought most of their red shirts and freshmen. Nolf, Nevills, Mac And Ceasar all competed. For those of you that have never been in the ESU fieldhouse, when they put 8 mats down their is no room to walk around or sit with the exception of the small set of pull out bleachers. The bleachers get used by the teams. Penn State was sitting along the far wall as a group and Sanderson was telling the kids they had their choice for lunch. Bagels out of the bag ,2 different flavors. Absolutely the most down to earth group of guys you could imagine. When kids wrestled ,you literally stand on the mat next to the coaches. Casey and Cael would be more than gracious if someone would talk to them. The greatest thing was when a young children acompanied by their father, would approach Cael for an autograph. Cael would oblige without hesitation and take time to talk to child and father. It confirmed to me what I heard about Coach Sanderson.

Hopefully came across as a fun compliment as to how spot on your post was. Because you did nail it.

BTW, you win the internet for like forever if you change your profile pic to The Rock. Just sayin'.
