Joe McFarland would have been my 1st choice. His team excelled more often than not on the big stage.

Slow cooking sausage and pepper tonight. Should taste good. Have bowling tonight, so will have a bourbon or two late. What we drinking tonight?

You're the one coming across as defensive.

Let me ask you this, does the fact that Cael coached his team to a title the year before and 5 individual championships, weaken his case for winning this year? You seem to imply that Cael had an easier time this year because he had success last year.

Joe did't have (5) returning NCAA champs on his squad. His teams really put up a fight in the big duals and at Natty's. Yes Cael did as well (feel better now?).

Eric Keller?! Yes, a UNI alum, but, come on! A bobo doll could coach at Wartburg and anyone who is anyone who aspires to wrestle at the DIII level goes to either of the two Burgs, so coaching is almost irrelevant at those two schools.

Ladies and gentlemen, your next Wartburg Knights coach!
