I saw this and it was very well done, but disturbing. It showed all sides of the Sandusky controversy and Joe Paterno's family dilemma in dealing with his firing. It also showed some extremely haunting pictures of Joe while undergoing his cancer therapy without much hair and losing a lot of weight. I truly think that should never have been shown. He apparently went through hell in many ways before his death. It is a crying shame!

I have responded to my own post with this link. I highly suggest watching this, but prepared to be both pleased with many parts and totally disgusted with others.

People around here have made up their opinions on this long ago. Why is an ambulance chasing lawyer one or the central figures? Why is Matt Sandusky treated like a saint who could never lie when he is a wife beater with a rap sheet of 10+ offenses, including arson. Probably should have been mentioned, but as the director stated, that wasnt the angle we wanted to portray.

Why did Amir Bar Lev feature Bernie McCue, a person who seems to have some serious personal issues?

It's on Netflix. If you don't subscribe to Netflix you can rent it through Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Happy-Valley-...sr_1_1?s=instant-video&ie=UTF8&qid=1435866546
