Can we make an exception this year to get Tennessee into a bowl against PSU?

We can call it the Outhouse Bowl because that's where UT fans relieve themselves due to their lack of indoor plumbing.

Furthermore, I'd love to see PSU lay about 70 on them just for grins and to beat the hell out of their sorry asses.

Just a one time bowl. That would be as satisfying as anything else I think.

You should not confuse the average UT fan with the twitterverse.

Oh, I'm not the one confused. But it seems the UT administration and politicians are.

Did you poll every politician and administrator?

Seems like the administrators wanted to hire Schiano but then they believed the twitterverse like idiots... so maybe they are confused.

Twitter is not reality. On twitter everyone is right and everyone is wrong.

You have to wonder what this does for the future process of hiring coaches. They obviously screwed up, but what happens if the twitterverse doesn't find out ahead of time? TN fans melt down after the hire?

PSU has nothing in terms of 2017 football to gain playing Tennessee.

If PSU wins it’s what is predicted. If PSU loses, it’s a feather in Tennessee’s and SEC’s caps.

Oh my friend, it would be simply for the fun of humiliating those asshats for dragging a man's reputation through the mud, as well as Penn State's again.

what they should have done this time. didn't have the balls to stand up to these idiots. can't walk this back. the inmates are now running the asylum. sound vaguely familiar?

Perhaps it's best to just ignore them, like Pitt.

We had a good response from one BOT member. Offer that as the response when needed.

They want attention and relevance.
Consider the sources and don't give it to them.

imho

Isn't that the NFL? At least that was what Bob McNair said.;)

@LionDeNittany

I have no opinion of him but find it ironic that the media is now defending him because he doesn't fit into THEIR narrative that it's all Joe's fault. It all blew up in their face and now they are scrambling in all directions.

That the politicians have a say whom Tennessee's head football coach is sounds like a culture problem to me.

No ifs involved in winning. Penn State could easily drop 70+ on them and I would love it. Great thought by the OP, though TIC.
