Ayanna Pressley claims Walgreens is RACIST for closing stores
The representative, who is a member of the Democrat 'Squad' said the chain was 'abandoning' low-income communities with the most recent closing in Roxbury on Wednesday.
One would think a member of Congress would understand how capitalism works. It is the economic system of the U.S. Walgreen's is under no obligation to keep a store open that is losing money. Walgreen's first responsibility is to shareholders, not potential customers or shoplifters.
