The Post reports that MMW is headed by Michael Kempner, a top level fundraiser out of New Jersey for both President Obama and Ms. Clinton.
Weiner's wife, Huma Abedin, is one of Clinton's closest advisors, one of the few to be granted an email on the secret Clintonemails.com server that has caused the former First Lady so much trouble.
Despite Weiner's past troubles, MMW describes him as "a brilliant strategist."
