"It's not about how I play but how we play," Beck said. "Our identity is to run the ball. We just weren't able to do that tonight. Maybe whenever that happens, I have to step up, and we have to make some explosive plays in the passing game. Or maybe I got to start making some plays on the ground. Someone has to step up and make a play whenever we're not able to run the ball comfortably."

Not only is he trying to kill his draft stock on the field but decided to do so when speaking with the media as well. That's not leadership.

Kirby appears to be losing this team. It explains their lackluster play all year. I hope Tenn jumps them early and sends them to Next Year land. It seems that Tenn needs to stop the run and Beck and O will be incapable of stepping up. Atleast one can hope.

It would be best for PSU for UT to knock UGA out of the playoff race. However, although this UGA team has played uninspired football for most of the season, they are capable of dismantling good teams like Clemson and Texas. Because this game is at UGA, I suspect that UGA will turn in one of their inspired performances.

I don't think Kirby is losing them but I could be wrong. I think this is a case of them having a tough schedule and this not being one of his best teams. Losses to Ole Miss and Bama aren't bad even if that's below what they expect. Tennessee this week will be interesting. 2 offenses that are really struggling. Which one produces enough to win.

I do think the Texas game broke Beck even though the won

From a PSU point of view, I’d rather play UGa than Texas in a playoff game the way things stand right now. Beck has been making a lot of boneheaded decisions for QB with his experience and UGa hasn’t exactly been wearing out the scoreboard. It would be an interesting slugfest.
Texas has so much speed. Don’t really like PSU’s chances in a track meet with the ’Horns.
Oregon, ‘Bama, OSU would all scare me for the same reason.

Should have scheduled some games vs Army, Navy, Airforce, Maryland, Pitt, Syracuse, BC, WVU, random MAC school, Temple, or Rutgers. Joes ole schedule.

at least he didn't celebrate with the opposing team after they lost.

Shouldnt you be looking for the statue?
I already know where it is. Deal with the fact that Paterno built the program that your beloved coach is consistently failing to take to the next level, and Paterno did it for far less $.
