I'd love him to hang out for another year to work with Starocci and AB.Likely going elsewhere
Yeah, I'm curious too. But it does seem like the natural time to announce Hall going to NLWC would've been at the same time they were announcing Cenzo, Cassar, and Gilman, so he's more than a bit conspicuous by his absence from that announcement.Based on??

But perhaps he's weighing offers, which he won't lack. Or perhaps he just wants time to think about what comes next.
That's true, but he's going to face that same problem wherever he trains.Mark has a major problem in Olympic years. Cutting to 163 is a major problem and going up to 189 makes him VERY undersized.
First I've heard of that. Probably a misremembering or misinterpretation. For some reason I thought it was already pretty well established that Mark has said his plans had changed and he wasn’t looking to continue wrestling after college. Thought it was going to be a direct-to-coaching kind of thing. Maybe I’m totally making that up.
I think one issue right now for Hall is that he still has not graduated, believe that is the focus now. SentWhat’s the current NLWC roster now with these additions?

I would agree with that.I think Slay can convince Mark to be successful he's gotta shrink his body and get to 74kg.He is doing just that (weighing offers). About 20 topics down there is a post about Hall and Cenzo. It it I linked an April YouTube interview with Hall where he addressed the club situation. Cliff notes: 1. Mark will be in State College at least through December as he finishes up some coursework, 2. He wants to go through a “recruitment process” as it pertains to post-grad clubs, 3. It sounded like his mentor Slay will get a strong look, and 4. He hasn’t written off PSU as an option.
Reading the tea leaves, my money is in Mark joining Slay at the Pennsylvania RTC.
It’s a shame because he’s a terrific freestyle wrestler. I hope he can somehow manage 74kg. If he can, I think he could be a force. The crazy dude Mark beat in the Semis in 2016, Suleymanov, is now a European silver medalist who nearly beat Burroughs the following year at the World Cup.Mark has a major problem in Olympic years. I cant see a starving Mark Hall being successful over Dake, A full grown man Nolf, or even a natural 74 Imar, it just isnt in the cards for him at 74.
Depending on what Dake does after Oly’s, 79 would be ideal for Marky, but even there you have a world contender in Ringer. I do think Marky is a better FSler than Ringer though.
Also, would Dieringer really cut back to 79 kg after adding 15 lb of muscle to go 86 kg?Why do think Ringer would be his competition at 79 after Dake walked thru the World Championships last year at 79?
