FYI #50 Will Ulmer for MU before NIL use to play his guitar and sing at my watering hole under the name of Uncle Bill from Hooterville. He is pretty good
His buddies , other OL guys would come. It doesn’t take long to fill up a bar when the crowd is 6-5 and 310#!!

App. State’s defense stands up again in the red area. 7-6, ‘neers.

56-yard touchdown through the air (including YAC. o_O) for MU. 13-7, Herd, with 12:36 left in the 2nd quarter.

MU takes the kickoff 97 yards to the house. Faked a handoff, fooled App. State. 20-14, Herd.

Entertaining game so far. It appears Huff learned the art of timeout malfeasance from his former boss and I don't mean Saban.

App. State fumbles after getting a 1st down on 3rd and 1. Herd take over still up, 23-21.

Touchdown, App. State, quickly to start the 4th quarter. It looked like it could have been overturned on the replay, but no. 30-28, Herd, with 14:09 to go.

MU misses a field goal. Still 30-28, Herd, with 10:17 to go in the 4th.

App. State with the 45-yard field goal. 31-30, ’neers, with under six minutes to go.

App. State runs out the clock. Running back pulls up at the MU 5 yard line instead of scoring so the the ‘neers could work the clock.

Final: App. State 31, Marshall 30

Good game.
