*Kroenke (Rams) already started work on Inglewood stadium (utility lines are being laid as we speak, constr. to begin in Dec).. will be SELF FINANCED.. good luck with the NFL stopping him.. he's a lot more well-liked and has deeper pockets than Al Davis. Kroenke bot the Rams with the idea of moving to LA. Cowboys and fellow billionaire "Jurrah Jones" in full support. Now way a stadium that was to be financed by 2 teams, a city, and the NFL can compete against a self-funded palance in Inglewood. You don't want featherweights like Spanos and Davis trying to fund LA.. they'll just ruin it.

Oakland is broke.. you move Oakland to St Louis (funding in place for stadium) and leave the Chargers stuck in SD with a stadium bill every bit as big as what they would have payed in LA. Chargers with no leverage other than maybe moving to San Antonio or Portland.. Gotta think the NFL likes having SD in their pocket.. God knows visitors fill the Q in droves.. sometimes even outnumbering the Chargers (Steelers and Broncos come to mind).-sg
