The state of today's Democratic Party is that they love telling people what to do. The explosion of major regulations, which is better described as lawmaking by bureaucrats, shows how much the Democratic Party is fast becoming the party of control freaks.
Then ends with another home run.....
The cold hard truth is that government can't prevent all acts of evil 100% of the time. The simple truth is that evil exists, which means evil people, like Dylann Roof, will occasionally do things that horrify us. Another hard, inescapable truth is that existing laws didn't prevent Dylann Roof from massacring 9 people in an historic church.
President Obama has already signaled that he thinks more gun control laws are needed. It's doubtful that any amount of evidence will change his mind. The question then becomes whether Hillary and other Democrats will listen to proof and logic on gun control. At this point, that doesn't seem likely.
Unfortunately, the only hard truths they're willing to admit to are the ones that they're predisposed to believing.
