Believe it or not national-letter-of-intent day [Feb. 1] is just two weeks away. There are just two visit weekends left for the class of 2017. This coming weekend [Jan. 19-21] 10 of the players that are verbally committed to Penn State [Damion Barber, D.J. Brown, Sean Clifford, Mac Hippenhammer, Desmond Holmes, Robert Martin, Dylan Rivers, Cameron Sullivan-Brown, Jonathan Sutherland and C.J Thorpe] are expected to be on campus for their official visits. Early January enrollees [Brelin Faison-Walden, Kahlee Hamler, Michael Miranda and Lamont Wade] will also be on hand.

Journey Brown, Brailyn Franklin, Fred Hansard, Donovan Johnson and Yetur Matos, who have already made their official visits to Penn state are also expected to take unofficial visits on campus this weekend. So that means Coach Franklin and his staff are expecting to have all 19 of Penn State's verbal commitments for the class of 2017 on campus this weekend.

The last weekend [Jan. 26-28] before signing day [Feb. 1] there is a possibility WR Mark Webb and TE Peyton Hendershot could be on campus for official visits.

We'll also discuss what the possible official visits of WR Mac Hippenhammer to Notre Dame on Jan. 27 and OL C.J. Thorpe to Michigan on Jan. 27 might mean for Penn State's class of 2017, along with Penn State now offering 2017 WR Josh Howard from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Finally, we'll take a sneak peak at Penn State's 2017 spring practice session which begins in two months in mid-March.

So, there is a lot to talk about regarding Penn State football. Join me here tomorrow [Wednesday] at 1 PM to talk some Penn State football.
