I was there at the game and have to say that this was an exciting moment before the game. I never saw a B-2 in person before, and it was cool to see! It is not very loud (obviously by design), but is impressive as hell!
I was at the parade. It flew so slow and low that I didn't hear it until it was almost on top of us. I was in shock! If I was the enemy not only would I be wondering what the hell! It would be too late to praise Allah or shit my pants before I joined the dead. Scary good. As a former member of the military I can't say how proud I am to be an american. We were just getting up during the flyover earlier in the day at the Rose Parade, and it must have flown right over our hotel in Pasadena. We were still in bed, and the energy and noise brought us to our feet. All four of us! Car alarms were going off on the street... It was very disorienting, like a shock wave.
I don't think I've ever woken up in a better way on gameday than that. Feeling like crap, hungover ... half asleep, then CRACK. It's time for the RoseBowl baby.
The plane supposedly has an RCS about the same as a moth.
