Yesterday Chicago blocked a Proposal that would have permitted law enforcement to assist ICE to detain migrants with a criminal record. Specifically, the amending ordinance would have enabled police to cooperate with ICE to target migrants who had been arrested for gang or drug related activities or SEXUAL CRIMES INVOLVING MINORS.
Of course, the City Council voted AGAINST the measure by a vote of 39 to 11. CAIR called the two Councilmen who proposed the measure Lopez and Tabares Cowards "who want to turn the City into hell."
Tom Homan and the ICE employees better be provided a security detail which, unlike the Secret Service who failed Trump, will protect them from what will surely be a donnybrook of resistance and most likely violence when ICE goes into Chicago to take into custody the gang members and criminals who will be emboldened by the Mayor, Cair and other groups who are intent on protecting criminals.
