I've come to learn that just because something is in the newspaper doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Sources matter.

Do you think it is appropriate to have a former MSU football player investigating MSU athletes?

As soon as I read he was a former MSU football player and was now in charge of the uniformed officers I thought that that sounded like a colossally bad idea.
The fact of the matter is, those documents say what they say, and no amount of hand waving will ever change what those documents say.
What happened to the video of these players giving the deposition to the police? That in itself sounded pretty damning from the reports, but it seems to have disappeared. I guess as long as Izzo keeps crying after every game, he will not have to answer questions. Plus, the victims should be almost fully healed after all the recent wins.
Should make for a very interesting Homecoming game against MSU in October.

They had their "Fixer" in the MSU PD. A former player was investigating the current players. PSU should have hired Franco instead of Freeh.

Of course. It’s a basketball culture run amuck. Izzo knows about everything that happens on that campus. Hell, from what I hear he runs the campus.
