Finally found a Cards pitcher they could hit. Even Alverez can hit this guy.......
Gotta take this last one after losing the first two.....

It's good to see. Maybe he can exorcise some demonsAlvarez kills the Cards.
Looks like the Pirates are now down to just one reliable starter.
Yep, he hasn't been particularity sharp either. Home WC is in doubt at best.Who hasn't won his last three starts (not all his fault).
Not bad for a woeful, sucky team that is soon to be passed by the Cubs, Giants.....Yet still, after tonight, could be 4-2 in the past week against first place in the West and first place in the Central (with first place in the East up next).
Yeah, you're not allowed to point out their obvious flaws and tenuous position without being depicted as saying they're awful, etc. Another thing I've noticed is that on the rare occasion the Pirates score runs early, they almost always fail to add on. It's as though they are content to go in a shell.Yes!
A can of IC Light says the Cards win this game...
Nobody is saying the Pirates are woeful. They are simply over-rated, not bad but not the third best team in the majors. They will struggle to make the playoffs. I' m done making this statement. If I'm wrong so be it but I watch a lot of baseball and this team's flaws are greater than the flaws of the Cubs so I'm saying it will be a battle for the 2nd wildcard spot against the Giants and the Nats/ Mets.
A one and done in Wrigley against Arietta is not that exciting.
'nough said.
I just don't understand how you can say the Bucs have more flaws than the Cubs. The Bucs have played 111 games before tonight. That's nearly 70% of the season. If the Cubs were a better team they would be ahead in the standings. They are not. They Cubs have won 7 in a row. That will not continue. In the end, time will tell who is right.Yes!

I still think they make the playoffs simply because of their lead for the second WC, but this is hardly a way to finish the season if their play since the break is any indication.
P.S. If it's IC Light you want in the event they lose tonight I have to ask, wouldn't you have suffered enough?

But the Cubs are 0-3 against the Phils and have 4 games left with them (all in Philly). At the moment the Bucs are 5-7 against Cubs head-to-head. You're right time will tell.
Nice hit by Walker BTW...
And with a win tonight they move to 4-19 in their last 23 in St. Louis. Seriously though, this is a must win tonight. At the moment the Bucs are 5-7 against Cubs head-to-head. You're right time will tell.

And the Bucs are 18-8 against the Cards at home the past 3 years. And with a win tonight they move to 4-19 in their last 23 in St. Louis. Seriously though, this is a must win tonight.
