Another nice win in the next round by Unger over #12 seed Tucker Owens (AF), 6-0. Owens was wearing a significant brace on his right leg.

#1 seed Mike DeAugustino (125) injury defaulted his second round bout. Looked like a right leg injury.

What’s up with Joel Vandevere? I think he was a top 10 recruit coming out and people had really high expectations. He lost to Jesse Vasquez from Az State first round and then Vasquez lost his next match. Vandevere is still super young and I think this is his first year in the lineup but I thought he was going to be trouble from day 1
Vandevere just lost his second match 7-0 to the Bucknell kid and is out

Of all the possible finals bouts, it is the upper weights that most interest me...
At 174, it could be Mehki Lewis vs Mikey Labriola.
At 184, it could be Parker Keckeisen vs Trent Hidlay.
At 285, it could be Cohlton Schultz vs Mason Parris.
Also hope to see Sasso vs Millner at 149.

The 184 quarters are really good. Has to be the best weight in the tournament.
Keckeisen vs Montalvo
Pinto vs Munoz
Romero vs Bolen
Finesilver vs Hidlay

That’s really solid and that’s with Loew getting injured first match against Pinto and defaulting out. If I had to bet on who gets to the finals it would be Keck vs Hidlay but Hidlay has a super tough semi against either Romero or Bolen. Should give us a good indication of who will be runner up this year because none of them are touching AB

Thanks for these updates!!

It's crazy tOSU didn't scout Cook, the guy absolutely lives off that big move single leg counter. They should have been ready for it given the length of the break.

This Knocks Cass down to 4.
Kerk
Parris
Schultz
Cass

Then again if A.J. wins this and beats Parris I can easily see wrestle stat move him up to #1 lol
