Wonder why SuperTODD isn't banging his chest over the elite midfield play right now. Good they won the group, but they still appeared pretty sloppy again.
Boy did they ever look sloppy, just an all around bad effort save for Guzan.
I know it won't happen but I would love to see Zardes, Altidore and Clint on the field at the same time.have Clint play a hybrid forward midfield position.

Because SUPERTODD is smart enough to know a sloppy performance on a shitty pitch next to an awful Mix Diskerud is not more defining than the previous five games where he dominated against superior competition. It would be like declaring your hero Pirlo terrible because the last game in which he played he was ineffective. I would like to say it surprises me that I have to explain this to anyone but I guess it makes sense to have to explain this to someone who thinks Pirlo is an attacking midfielder when he has been playing in the number 6 role for this whole decade. Here's a hint: the number 6 isn't the shortstop.

Yeah and the performance against Honduras must have been the pitch too. He usually distributes better , but last night was awful. Blaming Mix is a cute deflection. You apparently don't know what world class or elite is in the center of the pitch. Great player for the US, but not elite. Fire away, but I can only chuckle when you say it now. He'll have his moments and go down as one of the all time US greats, but that isn't elite.
It's a buildup. There is a good chance we will get stronger as this tourney moves forward. The level of play in the concacaf region is moving upward.

I think so as well. I don't expect the best lineup for Panama either since nothing is on the line.
I was talking to a friend of mine last night about this. MLS has really helped improve the level of play throughout the CONCACAF region.
No I took the attacks on me as attacks on me. You got butthurt when I responded in kind. And nothing you wrote over the last month indicates to me that you have more than a cursory knowledge of the game. Every time I tried to explain something beyond basic concepts you missed the point.
