So at the gym today I saw on the screen [no sound] John Dean being interviewed and the gist of it was the Nixon deal was much worse than the Clinton stuff. So as a guy who grew up [at PSU] in the Nixon era and disliked Nixon then as much as I dislike Clinton now it got me thinking.
. Nixon's guys broke into DNC HQ to do dirty tricks in the campaign
. Emails show Clinton up her neck in disparaging Sanders [with DNC help] and now sending minions to Trump rallies to disrupt them.
. Nixon the "crime" was all about the cover up
Clinton spends a year denying she sent or received classified emails, Obama says he just finds out
about the email server when he heard it on the news. We now know these attempts to cover up and deny are completely untrue
Nixon's bad guys were - Haldeman [chief of staff?], Erlichman [campaign chief?], Dean [lawyer] etc.
Clinton has, Mills, lawyer, Huma, chief of staff, Podesta campaign chief.
It looks to me like Clinton's "crime" was worse than Nixon's and then everything else is similar.
Only difference is in today's world the "everybody does it" mentality seems to get HRC a pass.
