Does anyone know the total cost of club seats? I know from looking at gopsusports.com it's $1,680 per year with a designated increase yearly. What would the NLC donation and actual cost of game ticket be? On the NLC Seating Contribution map it doesn't have anything listed for the club seats.

I've sat there before and they are great seats. Just wondering how steep it is for the whole year.

at the end of 5 yrs, you'll be paying approx. $2 grand per seat plus tickets, unless you pay the full boat up front. ask @ Nittany Ziggy, I believe he had club seats.

I haven't been to a night game since we cranked Ohio State in 2005, I believe. I give my season tickets to the grand boys for those games. I sit in the H.C. section on the 43 yd line, next to the team. I often look at the club seating section and I'm disappointed with the turn out to the noon & 3:30 games. I would guess that 1/3 of the seats are empty. There have been games that just a scattering of seats were occupied...….& board members bash the students!

Can't comment on the night games any longer.

I have toyed with club seats since they built the deck. I never pulled the trigger as I always thought the 4% annually compounded percent was too steep. Maybe in 7 years when kids are done with college I may go back and look again.

It would be interesting to know exactly how many of the club seats are currently under contract...… and how that number has fluctuated over the years.
(I don't know those precise figures, FWIW)
For those that bought the 10 year plan at the beginning and renewed once, the final year of the 2nd 10 year plan is 2020 season. I think a lot of these folks will not be renewing for a third time. The original cost was about $1200/seat (ticket prices and Nlc donation have remained relatively constant). And, you could write off 80% of the donation on taxes. Now the seats are $1600 +/-, and the tax benefit has changed under new tax law. With the automatic annual increase, the required donation for seat will rise to nearly $1800 per seat. Now you do get 1 parking space.
It's getting a little expensive

I know I have commented on this before, but the worst club seats I have ever sat in. Not the seats themselves, but the fact that the club area is so small because they had to get cute with the design and have the glass angle in, taking away what would have been valuable space, plus you have to pay for the food. Been in club sections at OU, NC State, Arkansas, and a few others. and they were all better (Arkansas you had to pay extra for the food), others it was included in the price and were more spacious. I imagine if they ever do renovate Beaver Stadium, especially the west side, they will probably do another type of club section, which they will do right.

I had club seats for 15 years. They were great. Then decided to change things up. My new seats are are just as good, bathrooms equally as accessible and I get out of the stadium faster afterwards. The only thing I miss is the occasional time that it'd be nice to go warm up at halftime (even if it meant hanging out in a sardine can)

I’ve had club seats since the 2nd year they were in existence & God willing, will continue to have club seats until I’m physically unable to go to games. I do agree that the seat license has become a bit salty in price, but relatively speaking, believe they are still well worth the price.

One thing not often mentioned on this board is the resale value of club seats. As example, I had to unload my club seats for Pitt game this year (much to my chagrin), because of a wedding that day. My pair of tix sold for $900, which essentially covered my full season tix price (not including seat license).

I had clubs, four tickets , for the first ten years. Then my kids were in HS activities and couldn't go regularly so I let them expire. In my experience, food is included in club seats, typically only if a business buys out a section, and pays the catering bill. I agree that the enclosed area is too small for the number of seats. With the tax advantage gone, it is a pretty salty deal, and for me buying single game tickets is the way to go.

I have friends who have club seats. One has two and the other has four. I go to at least one game in the club a year because they can purchase extra club tickets for games but once it hits the bigger games it becomes too expensive for me to buy the single ticket so it's usually an OOC game like Idaho this year, App State last year although I did splurge for Michigan in 2017 when we smashed them into the shadow realm. That game was one of the best I've ever been to.

They are expensive so I recommend finding a friend who has club seats and piggy back off their ability to buy extra tickets for games and go to a game or two a year.
