Sounds like Carter's mom is the only one mad about the situation. All coaches oversell when they recruit...all coaches. Carter really doesn't have much to complain about either...landed 7th in the draft, played nearly 30 minutes a night. It actually was the perfect situation for him. No coach is going to pass on a kid like Bagley.
This bitch is pathetic. She’s pissed at Coach K for attempting to make his team as good as possible rather than to create a situation where her son could put up the best stats. She should be a figure skating parent or something. Does she have any concept at all for what team sports are all about?

The article is pretty poorly written. Obviously written to get clicks and it has zero substance. It could have gone two ways. One, Coach k said to them, hey we are looking at recruiting other big men or whatever. Two, Coach k said you are our guy and we will build around you.

Come on Glov, take off the tarheel blue colored glasses for a second. You can actually be objective instead of running with a story just because it’s against the other Carolina school. I’ve been following this since it came out and this is the first story that makes K look bad. The bottom line is mama Carter is crazy. She lost me at comparing the NCAA to slavery. You know, the free top-notch education, free top-flight coaching, free medical care free room and board of slavery.

Should she have said “you’re gonna be the center of the O unless someone better commits”? Should he have said no to a world class, arguably top of the recruiting class talent in Bagley? Whoever said this is lavar ball 2.0 is spot on. If she wanted him to be the center of the O he should have gone to Harvard and gotten that top flight coaching and had all that free publicity that comes with playing for an Ivy League school. 10$ says he still would have had foul trouble most nights.
