Meet Penn State head football coach James Franklin, Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour and other Penn State head coaches when the Coaches Caravan returns to the road this spring.
Franklin, Barbour, and other featured Penn State coaches will travel throughout Pennsylvania, starting May 8 in York, with stops in seven locales, including several Penn State campuses.
At each event, alumni, friends and fans will hear updates on the Nittany Lions’ nationally recognized 31-sport athletic program, learn about the 2017 football season, and get to know more about the academic and athletic achievements of 800 student-athletes—all while connecting with fellow Penn Staters.
The Penn State Coaches Caravan is jointly sponsored by the Penn State Alumni Association and the Nittany Lion Club. As a benefit of membership, Alumni Association and Nittany Lion Club members can register in advance, before the caravan is open to the general public. Member registration begins in mid-March, with general public access to follow.
Franklin is scheduled to participate in all stops, and other coaches from Penn State Athletics will join him. Read more about the 2017 Coaches Caravan here.
