I saw it first hand with Chip Kelly, but any football coach who says there is only 1 way to do things in today's day and age is going to have problems. Im talking about our offense, when we were winning games JF can say whatever he wants at a press conference, but when you are being paid Top 5 $$$ and have yet to beat a ranked team EVER on the road, you need to slow your roll. I hated it when I heard him mock the question/questions about the shotgun snap, Chip Kelly was the same way. "this is what we do, this is how we are going to do it". Bill Belicheck(sp) comes up with an entirely new game plan every single week depending on the opponent. You have to be able to adjust to what your eyes are showing you. When you have a GENERATIONAL RB and you cannot get him open looks in your current running game, you need to CHANGE!!!!! I said it a few weeks ago, come Feb you are going to hear the football analysts talking about how they are surprised that Barkley did not put up the numbers he should have considering how talented he is, and its not his fault. Kind of the same way when during Hack's last year myself and others thought Trace should get a shot since our OL sucked and Hack was a tree stump, at least try someone who can move. What do you know.......we win a Big Ten title the following year. The only problem was that somehow Hack received the only guarantee to never be benched in the history of Penn State football because he voluntarily decided to stay with us post NCAA penalties.
