I agree with that. But did you honestly think the SEC kissasses (i.e. the Committee) would do anything different.Committee fails, totally avoiding the SEC replay.
UMich’s Nov was much more impressive than ‘Bama’s.
Should have 1) UMich vs 4) Cincy
And 2) ‘Bama vs 3) Georgia
Huh? Didn’t ND lose to Cincinnati?Notre Dame is more deserving than Georgia.
Huh? Didn’t ND lose to Cincinnati?
Well, in all fairness, it was more like a Cincinnati home game when all the ND fans sold their tickets to bearcat fans.they lost to Cincy at home, which is even worse.
How is that different that a Georgia team that played a similarly weak schedule getting in right after an uncompetitive loss to Bama at seasons end?Huh? Didn’t ND lose to Cincinnati?
The idiotic desire of some people to crown a true national championship has ruined the post season and significantly diminished the regular season while not actually succeeding in their primary mission. Should Cinci lose and Notre Dame win their game, they are a rightful co-national champion regardless of what anyone says.Boring. Hard to believe that we wanted a CFP for years, and then when it finally happened it was never, ever remotely interesting. The only year that was even a little bit interesting was 2015

I think that’s because it’s basically still the old BCS system, just with a new name. We still have a committee using vague (?computer?) info to pick who goes.Boring. It’s boring because it not really a playoff.Boring. Hard to believe that we wanted a CFP for years, and then when it finally happened it was never, ever remotely interesting. The only year that was even a little bit interesting was 2015
The top-25 is nonsense. Two of those three haven't beat a team with a winning record this year and the third has one win which means they are not legit top 25 teams. You serious, Clark?
UGA would wreck Notre Dame. Absolutely wreck them.
Alabama would wreck Notre Dame.
Georgia beat 3 teams currently in the top-25. ND has beat ZERO teams currently in the top-25.
At least Georgia's loss came in championship weekend. How would ND have fared against Bama? Far worse than Georgia did.
LOL.
ND needed a last second TD to beat TOLEDO! At home for God sakes...You serious, Clark?

Okay then. The top-25 is nonsense. Two of those three haven't beat a team with a winning record this year and the third has one win which means they are not legit top 25 teams.
The desire for a true national champion hasn’t ruined the post season or diminished the regular season. ESPN’s idiotic invitational did that. A true playoff, with automatic qualifiers, might actually bring some significance back to conference titles. It might also allow for more competitive OOC matchups since an early loss wouldn’t eliminate/severely hamper title aspirations. The idiotic desire of some people to crown a true national championship has ruined the post season and significantly diminished the regular season while not actually succeeding in their primary mission. Should Cinci lose and Notre Dame win their game, they are a rightful co-national champion regardless of what anyone says.

BS, they are fairly evenly matched. You can't think they aren't but no objective measure supports that opinion. The best win by either team is Notre Dame's win over Purdue by a considerable margin.Okay then.
If you honestly think Notre Dame is a better team than Georgia (or more "deserving"), I suspect there's little point in having a conversation because we're clearly not watching the same things.
UGA would beat them by 5 TDs. ND's one-dimensional run game would get ripped apart at the line of scrimmage. Alabama beat them by lightning strikes to elite playmakers on the outside. ND has none of that.
Nonsense. Notre Dame is as deserving or more. Purdue is a better win that Georgia has on its record and a better win than any team Georgia has beaten has on their record. They played a soft as butter schedule. They ran up scores against 8 bad teams and four mediocre teams and got steamrolled by the one good team they played.OT against a really bad Florida State team.
Late TD to beat Toledo.
3-point win over 6-6 VT.
And the benefit of USC, North Carolina, Stanford, and Wisconsin being worse than usual.
They played one legit team -- Cincinnati -- and lost at home. They played one other "good" team -- Purdue -- and that was a 4 point game in the 4th quarter.
Please.
They lost in October to an undefeated team. Georgia lost in December, in what was effectively a home game (1 hr 21 mins drive time) vs. a team that lost to Texas A&M and should have lost to 6-6 Florida that gave up over 50 points to Samford. Also, ND beat Ga. Tech 55-0 a week before LSU beat them 45-0.they lost to Cincy at home, which is even worse.
That doesn't mean that I am wrong because...I am not. Objectively, Notre Dame is more deserving a playoff bid than Georgia, as are Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Baylor.ND deserves to be in CFP about as much as Wallace deserves the Poster of the Year Award. Zilch!
But you are wrong. That doesn't mean that I am wrong because...I am not. Objectively, Notre Dame is more deserving a playoff bid than Georgia, as are Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Baylor.
What objective measure? Every analytics ranking I’ve seen has UGA’s SOS and SOR better than ND.That doesn't mean that I am wrong because...I am not. Objectively, Notre Dame is more deserving a playoff bid than Georgia, as are Ohio State, Oklahoma State and Baylor.
When benefits run out, the rate goes down.
Hilarious!ND deserves to be in CFP about as much as Wallace deserves the Poster of the Year Award. Zilch!
Peach Bowl: Michigan State vs Pittsburgh
Fiesta Bowl: Notre Dame vs Oklahoma State
Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs Utah
Sugar Bowl: Baylor vs Ole Miss

Georgia played the easiest schedule of any top 15 team not named Cincinnati. There is no denying it.You're saying Oklahoma State is more deserving of a playoff bid than Georgia? The Oklahoma State that lost to Iowa State?
Dude.......LOL.

You probably feel the same as many college football fans. With few exceptions, most teams are very regional fan bases. I'll watch as many as I can, just because it's the end of the football and sports season for me. I don't watch the NFL. I hate basketball but will catch an occasional NHL Penguins game.No sour grapes, honestly, but none of those games are overly compelling. Will probably watch the Rose Bowl, in large part because of the setting and because games from the Rose Bowl just look really good on TV. Not sure what it is. Must be the location of the cameras.
In other breaking news: Water is wet, the sun is yellow, and the sky is blue.Wallace is a bozo!
