Say what you want about Pat Mineo but he exposed Hawkeye fans on HR for what that really are these past few weeks. In that I mean, doesn't matter if you post honestly, call things the way you see them over there....if you post something they dont like (even if you are 100 percent correct) they will make personal insults, tell you you are stupid and wrong, cry like babies and beg for you to be banned.
Mineo completely owned those idiots over there. Came at a perfect time seeing as we are all probably looking for some entertainment lately..
Probably wouldn't t be a good time for me to come out of "retirement" and go over there and tell them I'm looking forward to seeing Penn State DEFEND their National Championship this coming year.

Ragan told TheOpenMat the women were summoned to a Zoom meeting and given their walking papers, effective July. No advance warning and no option was given for the women to stay on as members of the HWC.
Ragan's statement contradicts what Tom Brands told TrackWrestling back on April 10th where he claimed 1.) the HWC was not cutting funding, 2.) that they are more committed than ever to support women's wrestling, and 3.) that the HWC "has an unlimited budget and we'll do what's best for our women".

Agreed. However, I find it a bit hard to criticize another program for cutting something that our program has never done.
I admit I'm shallow. I'll have fun criticizing. But it stems from many at HR's holier than thou response to the rumor.

True. The same thing would happen here too. This guy gets called everything under the son just because he breaks stories before the insiders everyone respects. He's been blasted on here before as well. I think it's funny.
Truthfully, I get this is a really sticky situation for TnT in general. If he was a straight shooter and said it like this
"We have a lot of top male talents joining HWC soon (Spencer, ADS, Lugo, Eierman, Kemerer, Bull) and expenses are going to rise as a result. Due to the COVID 19 hit, we had to cut expenses elsewhere and chose the Women's team"
There would be public figures who don't give two s***s about wrestling smearing HWC and effectively Iowa wrestling as a result, the publicity would be brutal.
