Congratulations to Pitt on a great comeback.

Just goes to show when all your captains opt out or transfer and your back-up QB starts, good things happen.

Narduzzi has Pitt playing like a Midwest big 10 team. I don’t like the guy but have to give him credit. Seems the kids have bought in and they play with a physical can do approach. UCLA had chances to put the game away but they could not handle the pounding Pitt was putting on them. Pitt wore them down and UCLA folded.

Yes, Pitt plays very physical. They were putting pressure on the UCLA QB all day. Their OL plays the same way. I wish PSU would play that physical since we do recruit better talent, but give Narduzzi credit, he always seems to have them ready to play.

UCLA giving up back to back 20-25 yard pass completions with about 33 second left was pathetic; they should have lost. And, the QB scramble to get that extra foot for a first down was impressive. The clock would have run out if he didn't get the first down since Pitt wasted two timeout on the defense.

Narduzzi is a very good coach. He should continue to dominate his division. If he can ever figure out how to land higher rated classes watch out. That said he does more with less and at times I do wonder what he could produce with our roster.

Was hoping to see Patti sucker punch Narduzzi after the game.

Narduzzi is a head case. Does some terrible coaching yet his teams do play hard. He almost blew the game yesterday. The Panther Liar game day thread is hilarious. They had out the pitch forks, torches, and nooses with a minute left. Absolutely hated Nardo ….worst coach ever!…. Worst game ever!…… and then **BOOM*** ……best coach in all of football, greatest game ever, can’t wait for next year,

Sports fans are truly crazy people, including ours.

51-6 H2PSU.

Why did nardogg have his best QB on the bench all year?

4-5 losses every year like he does now. He doesn’t have our talent but he’s also not playing against the talent level we play, so it’s a wash.

He is an average coach not good or bad. Landing good classes at Pitt would require many, many millions. Not an attractive place to play until portal time. So Narduzzi will never have good recruiting classes like PSU. He does have a huge advantage that PSU does not have and that is called the ACC Coastal. The Coastal division is year in year out the worst power five division behind even the AAC this year. Unless I am mistaken, Narduzzi has 2 division titles in 8 or 9 seasons. If he was a “very good coach” he would dominate the Coastal. But he hasn’t.

UCLA defense played a pathetic game. They were disinterested and didn't seem to try to make plays.

Give him/them a little credit even with the losses this year. Pitt beat a team (UCLA) that beat Utah by putting 505 yards of offense on the board. Lets hope we can repeat that on Monday.

There have been about a thousand job openings since Narduzzi took over at Pitt. If he was a good coach, he would have jumped by now.

Contradictory post….Pitt refuses to commit resources to get good recruits, yet he continues to have 8-9 wins every year. ACC coastal is no worse than the B1G West. He’s beaten Clemson a few times too. The guy does have a screw loose, but his team almost always shows up.

ACC Coastal is much worse than the Big West. But even assuming it is no worse, having 5 or more losses almost every year in the Big West is not succeeding and not having your team almost always showing up.

Yes he wins 8 to 9 in the weakest division. He does get an occasional upset like most average coaches do. He also loses to one or two teams each year they shouldn’t. Sorry to me that defines average.
