We beat the National Duals Champion by 15 points in Tournament format
Yeah, but don't expect it to happen again at Nationals, with a full field of competitors. For instance, I doubt Kade Moss will rack up 15 team points (about his total at the Scuffle) at Nationals.

How'd your Goophers do at the National Duals this weekend?

Thought so!

Not to take anything away from Kade's effort at the Scuffle, but I believe two of his victories were by forfeit. That won't happen at the tournaments either. Having said that, you never know how these tournaments will play out and Missouri's win over Iowa in the National Duals does make the title prospects interesting going into the tournaments.

I'll give you half ...

Kade got nice team points when Nick Arujau (Cornell) forfeited for their consolation match.

He also got nice team points when Jason Estevez (Buffalo) was injured during the 1st period of his consolation match, and could not continue.

Injury forfeits are random events that can happen at Nationals. Simply forfeiting a match, as Arujau did, is almost unheard of at Nationals.

What's more unlikely for Moss, if comparing the Scuffle to Nationals, is Moss pinning Dean Heil, which he did at the Scuffle at the 4:18 mark of the consolation quarterfinals. When they met last week at the dual, the match was tied 6-6 at the end of regulation, and Heil ended up winning it 8-5 TB

It only seemed that way because our guys were twice as awesome as everyone else's.

But, just like everyone else, PSU was limited to 10 scoring wrestlers. Also just like in the past, before the Goofers finally conceded the Scuffle to PSU and found a different tourney that they could actually win.

You need to write slower so that even Jammit can understand***
