I am a bit puzzled by the Michigan St game notes reference to 17 Senior being honored. The list as published is as follows:
Brandon Bell, Gordon Bentley, Tom Devenney, Derek Dowrey, Brian Gaia, Evan Galimberti, Gregg Garrity, Malik Golden, Zach Ladonis, Wendy Laurent, Paris Palmer, Irvine Paye, Evan Schwan, Jordan Smith, Von Walker, Nyeem Wartman-White and Tyler Yazujian.
The list below is from the current roster on GOPSUSPORTS.com. It is 29 names with a class standing of Senior or Grad student.
QUESTION 1: the above list shows Evan Galimberti but he is not shown on the roster list (below). I don't recognize the name but the link does take you to his personal page which only has info through 2014. Anyone know about him?
QUESTION 2: I've put an (*) by the names listed in the GameNotes. The list below shows Cody Hodgens as a graduate student with one year of eligibility left, but he is not one of the 17. Wonder why. Also, in the second group of names they are all Seniors academically but but a year of eligibility remaining. Some of them are on the list to be recognized while others are not. Would it be right to presume that not being honored as a senior means this players will likely play one more year (as a grad student) while the others (with the *) move on from football?
