Anybody watching this tournament. I’m surprised how little attention this seems to be getting in the Wrestling media given that Okie State, Virginia Tech, and Missouri are all participating. I had to dig to find info. Nothing on Flo.

Per Okie State’s twitter, this is who made the finals and the results so far:

125: ???
133: No. 1 Daton Fix (OSU) vs. No. 20 Ryan Sullivan (WVU) – Fix by FALL
141: Dusty Hone (OSU) vs. Josh Edmond (Missouri) – Edmond by Injury Default
149: No. 4 Boo Lewallen (OSU) vs. No. 3 Brock Mauller (Missouri) – Mauller by DEC (7-5)
157: No. 16 Wyatt Sheets (OSU) vs. No. 19 Jacob Wright (WYO) – Wright by DEC (3-2)
165: No. 4 Travis Wittlake (OSU) vs. Peyton Hall (WVU) – Wittlake by MD (14-2)
174: No. 12 Dustin Plott (OSU) vs. No. 10 Hayden Hastings (WYO) -- Hastings by DEC (8-7)
184: No. 9 Dakota Geer (OSU) vs. Tate Samuelson (WYO) -- -- Samuelson by DEC (10-6)
HWT: Konner Doucet (OSU) vs. Austin Harris (OSU)

Adams defeated Ferrari in the Semis 3-2....evading a late TD and is in the Finals against the guy who beat him last week (Buchanan)
In a wild one. Buchanan had 58 sec. of riding time and got reversed with 30 sec. left. Buchanan escapes quickly and gets a quick TD to win 6-4 with riding time. Do you think Buchanan will pass Adams in the rankings now?
125: Mastrogiovianni was the Number 1 seed.....lost in the 1st round to Surtin of Missouri 9-6. Surtin was the 8 seed and Punke was the 7th seed. They both made the finals.
Also: Brock Mauller was the only starter that Missouri brought to the tournament.
Wyoming had 4 champions. Missouri and Okie State both had 3 champs. That leaves zero for WVU. Dusty Hone hurt his knee. Kaid Brock is out so Okie State might be down to their 3rd string 141 pounder.

And to think some people insisted Kollin Moore wouldn't beat Adams last year. Losing 2x to Buchanan sticks a fork in that theory.

Brock Mauller has to be a top 10 all time wrestling name.
