Cowboy player injured

OMG, I was just finishing dinner. I almost threw up, what a terribly gruesome injury. I hope they get some pain killers into him ASAP.

That reminded me of the Theisman injury. Foot pointing in the wrong direction with respect to the lower leg. Foot planted and the tackler rolled into the ankle from the side.

Probably at least a trimalleolar fracture dislocation.

Is it like the McKenzie Milton injury?

When you see this stuff, you can understand why NFL draft prospects skip bowl games. Of course, these injuries, though uncommon, can happen in any game.

I was out in the kitchen grabbing another beer- glad I missed it

WTF?? How do these bonehead refs miss that face mask against Wilson? Garrett needs stop his crying, and Aikman is such a homer for the boys

When he was laying on his stomach in pain, the foot attached the ankle that snapped was pointed towards the sky. One of the Seattle players saw that and walked away in disgust.
Yeah - I didn’t need to see the highlight as I saw that wierd angle when on his belly

Theisman looked at LT: "I am gonna get you for this someday."
LT: "Well it ain't gonna be today!"

Seems to be a routine play, where everything just falls in the wrong way. I hope the kid heals up.

Yikes, glad I missed it. I’ve lost my stomach for those types of things as I’ve aged.
These types of injuries don’t bother me in the sense of being squeamish. I always feel horrible for the player.

I really wish I didn’t see this one. It was horrific and I’m praying for the guy.

Similar action to the injury to the App St running back. Seeing it more and more with the offensive player still driving for yards and the defensive players are just riding them trying to pull them back.

Sounds like he got pretty lucky, all things considered. He's supposed to be 100% before the season
