Okay, I'm going to embarrass myself here but forgive my Facebookless and Twitterless awareness. What does "cup" your hands mean?
Don't feel bad...I am on twitter and I have no idea what that means...cup your hand?
No offense (well maybe a little) but if you don't want to explain it, why use it here where most, including me, will not understand it?An inside joke from The Lion's Den....
Thanks! I'm not sure if this lady is doing "cupped hands" the right way, but I do like the idea. There is a poster on the Lion's Den, he either annoys you completely, or you love him. He made a post once on the Lion's Den about how we need to be LOUD for the OSU game I think; doesn't matter which game it was, point is he made a post about how we should be cheering. "Cupped Hands"! He went on to describe how this method actually makes your cheering MUCH louder. If you yell into "cupped hands" it will make your voice project louder. It was classic, and has now become a legend, and everyone uses the term now. He is a bit strange, yes, but I actually think he is a decent guy and a true Penn State fan for sure. There you have it, feel free to use the term .
LOL! This is actually how I interpreted "cupped hands"!! It's an art form, and should be open to interpretation. Thanks! I'm not sure if this lady is doing "cupped hands" the right way, but I do like the idea.
