Wife just walked in and asked me if I wanted to go to the steak joint or China buffet after the movie I guess I agreed to take her to tonight at 6. Just checked to see if I had the meet programed to record and it isn't. I have that going for me at least. Any ideas how to get out of it? Going isn't part of my plan.

Or, some cable providers let you sign in with your smart phone and program to record tv shows. I know DirectTV has that option.

China buffet before the movie. You should be home in plenty of time for the match. Just buy some Pepto on the way home.

45 minute drive home. I usually don't leave china buffet until we have both visited Rutgers. I just "checked" under the hood to make sure the packrats werent up to no good and loosened the battery cable. My plan is still being hatched.

Avoid Chinese buffets. They are notoriously terrible.

I wouldn't upgrade the cable package. In exchange I told her she could watch\record (control) anything she wanted with 2 exceptions- During Wrestling and Gold shows. If the wrestling was set to record the gig would of been up. There was no way I would want to record it and watch at a later date.
