Just interesting to what people think about when you compare Michigan and Iowa defenses. Seemed like things were a lot more contested and pressures for this offense vs Michigan. They clearly look like a better defense with a lot of talent. I haven’t seen Ohio state play yet but will Saturday. I imagine Ohio state has a defense on the level of what we saw last night if not better.

Michigan is more aggressive at the line of scrimmage, and will put their DBs on an island 1-on-1 against WRs. Iowa plays more zone to limit the big plays, but will offer more for the taking in the run game. Both are very good and effective, but given the KJ Hamler factor, I'd prefer facing a defense that plays man in the secondary. That's exactly what we got last night.

Ohio State, I believe, has been playing more zone this year. They're going to be really, really tough.
