I have to wonder if the left understands the message of this article?

Was it just me or did members of the American political left look as if they wanted to stab their eyes out with forks during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union speech?
No, I don’t think it’s just me. They really hated it. Why?
Because President Trump didn’t tweet. Instead, he gave a good speech, presidential, sweeping, conservative, yes — after all he’s not Michael Moore — but optimistic.
Trump highlighted the effect of tax cuts on the economic turnaround, offered real compromise on immigration, and masterfully used guests in the audience as emotional touchstones to illustrate his policies.
Who can forget those four weeping parents whose daughters were killed in Long Island by members of the vicious MS-13 gang? Or the gripping story of Ji Seong-ho, an amputee who escaped from North Korea and lifted his crutches Tuesday night in triumph?
Americans obviously respond positively to such stuff. Just as they respond negatively to his ridiculous tweets and vulgarities. But the speech wasn’t vulgar, and this had the left seething.
